Fans appreciate Newman's Pulp Fiction reference at the end of the episode, where he arrives in an Acura to solve the muffin problem like Harvey Keitel's character.

I was watching the show with my younger sister. She hasn't seen Pulp Fiction, so she didn't get the tie-in with Newman playing Harvey Keitel's character who was the super cool problem solver guy. I thought it was a hoot how Newman came out of nowhere in the Acura (was it an Acura) near the end of the episode, just like Keitel's character in Pulp Fiction did, to dispose of the muffin stumps.

Actually, I think it was also a parody of HK's character in Point of no Return. In that, he is a "cleaner" and takes acid out of a briefcase to dissolve a body. And yes the car was an Acura NSX like in PF.

It was definitely from Pulp Fiction - Newman's dialog was EXACTLY that of Keitel.

I think it was Pulp Fiction - the Keitel character was "the Wolf", which also plays with Jerry paradying Jack Nicholson from Wolf running/ scratching under the full moon.

I agree the kicker for the Pulp Fiction tie in was the statement "forgive me if I'm curt with you"

I am going to watch Pulp Fiction again as I do not remember that scene. I thought it might relate to American Wherewolf in London. (or some such title) Any ideas?
