Why not have Seinfeld 7 days?

Why not put it on saturday too?

Why not Have 24 hour Seinfeld channel? Why? Because it's impractical.

That's not exactly the way it works. A network devoted to airing a single sitcom, 24 hours a day, would have to be a dedicated cable network. Syndication fees paid by a single cable network cannot equal those paid by numerous local affiliates thoughout the country.

While it would be fantastic for such a thing to exist, I think there are numerous financial drawbacks to such a project (most of which I don't understand). I'm sure there's the fear of a "burnout" factor - remember how the USA network used to hammer us with Wings episodes? They were great for awhile (for folks like me who watched them). But they got old quickly and became little more than "background television" for me, at least.

How many episodes of "I Love Lucy" air daily in your area? That show, despite the years, still probably enjoys a wider range of appeal than Seinfeld. I think it airs 5-7 times daily where I live. Its longevity is probably helped by the fact that folks who never saw it, who weren't even alive when it was running, can get hooked many years later. Seinfeld is no where near that point - if you watched it, but didn't enjoy it while it was running, why would you watch it in syndication?

We'll see in a few years how the internet & high speed communications (including tv/video on demand) affect the marketing of original television programming. If you could order an episode of Seinfeld, shown on your television, how much would you pay? Sure, you'd pay a few bucks to see an episode you missed - but, if it was on a weekly basis...?

And you see a problem with this? Imagine getting to see EVERY episode, EVERY 4 DAYS!!!

I wish they aired the syndicated show at 11pm instead of 7pm, Because I am never home at this time. I used to loved Seinfeld at 11pm.
