Where the hell is Latham?

I live in MA and I have no idea where Latham is. Anyone know?

The closest you're gonna get is Lathrop, Missouri or Latimer, Iowa.

Flying east from New York via the Great Circle route to Paris would have taken them over or near Lawrence, Massatoosets, and Lawrence is the long name for Larry, and the show's writer was Larry David.

Maybe "Latham" is the antithesis of "Gotham"

Wrong. There is a Latham, NY, just over the massachusetts border, near Albany. I used to shop at the Latham Circle Mall all the time. THAT would be your closest match.

Then I shall have to find the Rand McNally people and do some ass whuppin', 'cause it ain't in my Big Atlas!

It's in the brand new 1998 National Geographic Road Atlas, which shows Latham just southwest of Troy.

Really? How odd... It's not very big compared to the cities around it, but I am surprised it doesn't show up at all...

As explained in a CNN newscast Latham, Mass. is a fictional town so don't bother looking for it on any map.
