Well, for one, Nathan Lane will now have his own TV show. That will be fun.
NO SPINOFFS!!!! Ughhh - how horrible that would be to have even one of the Fab Four trying to get along without the other 3... I'm sure Jason, Julia and Michael can all find wrok - they're great! Wayne has already made several films ....actually so have JJ & M. Jerry may try his hand a filmmaking!! Wouldn't that be a hoot? I bet he does a hellofa lot better than what's on most of the screens that pass for "comedy" these days.

-------------------------------------------- I recall seeing Jerry on a (MSNBC?) interview the other day and he said the he felt that anything he could do in the future could not top the SEINFELD effort. He's reported to be earning about 100 million a year presently. With that kind of income, I doubt that he could be classified as a has been. Bet he will turn to writing-producing-directing or some such endevor.
I saw his act on his tour a few years back. he should stick to the tv show. it wasn't bad but it was alot of things he already did on his show openings. did he think the people in the audience never caught his show? How many people who follow him now will check the comedy bin at their local record store for a jerry cd? not me

Jerry of course doesn't have to do anything. Considering that he's poked fun at himself from time to time about having no material-- and couldn't even sustain the brief stand-up segment at the start of the show-- I think he'd find it most rewarding to write new material. Maybe he'll do more books, publicized by the occasional stand-up appearance.

Just kidding...he's grown a lot as an actor and would be a hell of a good stage performer on Broadway, maybe in his own comedy play (we know he's got the chops to write a good one). Or if Letterman means it when he says he won't go for another contract when his current one winds up in a couple of years, why not Jerry every night at 11:30 on CBS starting the first Tuesday in September in 1999? It'd keep him in NYC (where he wants to be) and give him both the national exposure and the nightly live audience he likes...
