This was so funny to me cuz it is so true. Older folks in south Fla will not put the a/c on. I lived in Port St Lucie for a while and went to a friend's parents house for a Fourth of July celebration. You guessed it, no a/c. I had a 3 month old baby and I asked them to turn on the a/c and they told me to sit under the ceiling fan and I'd be alright. It was 99 degrees outside!

Any episode involving the condos hit close to home for me. I lived in the same complex as my mother for four years and was president for two. Those episodes were all too real for me. They were not an exaggeration. Except I wasn't impeached.
