I can't understand what Elaine says in 'The Robbery' (s1e2)

Hi, English is not my mother language and i'd need some help to understand the first thing Elaine says at the end of 'The Robbery' when they sit in Carol's new appartment. She says somtehing like 'I can't believe I lost the deposit on that u-hall'. What the hell does it mean ? Thanks a lot !

u-haul is a trucking company that rents small moving trucks to people for the purpose of "self-moving" (instead of hiring a professional moving company).

elaine obviously planned on renting a u-haul truck, made the reservation, and put down a deposit. since she was unable to follow through with the move/reservation, u-haul KEPT her deposit as damages.

too bad elaine DIDN'T rent the truck. it's my guess she would have purchased the insurance so she could have BEAT THE HELL out of that thing!
