Fans praise the Bizarro Jerry episode, appreciating the Superman reference in the ending though debating whether viewers recognize the original comics versus other cultural references.

Very good show. But shouldn't Bizarro Jerry have been fat and sloppy, and his apartment spacious? And maybe anvils on the couch instead of cushions... by the way, I loved how Bizarro Jerry had a UNICYCLE hanging on his wall...

Finally, the best Superman reference ever, at the very end when Bizarro Jerry hugs his Bizarro pals and emotes, "Me so happy...me want to cry!"

Comments?

Not having read a Superman comic in about 25 years, my first thought for the closing comment by The Bizarro Jerry was that the "me so ..." manner of speaking was a take off on street talk as typified by 'Me So Horny' by 2 Live Crew which was popular about 6 years ago. That is till I vaguely remembered that that was how the Bizarros talked. It's a moot point whether or not younger viewers identify more with 2 Live Crew rather than The Bizarros.

That episode was like Jerry meets the x-files. Great episode.

I thought that was hilarious, however I was the only person in the room that got it. It's not quite as funny when you have to explain it to everyone.

Loved the Oct. 3 episode!! It was interesting to see how the opposite of each character played out. The most clever I thought was: <knock knock> "Who is it?" "Feldman."

And Jerry acting like a neglected housewife!! I laughed out loud several times. When he was sitting in the dark was a hoot. "You cooked?" "I ordered in, still...effort."

George's story line was a little lukewarm, but I liked at the end where the meatpackers were back, and the magazine picture was lying under the sawdust.

Go Jerry!! kAThrYN "What are you doing?""Eating olives.""Ever heard of asking?" (I was just waiting for that smug Elaine to realize she doesn't fit into that crowd either! Ka-BOOM!)

The best part of that bit came right after though (both times they did it):

<knock knock> Kevin: "Who is it?" Feldman: "Feldman." <Kevin and Gene look confused> Feldman: "From across the hall." <Kevin and Gene smile in recognition, and Kevin goes to unlock the door.>

Jerry shouldn't ness. be fat and sloppy. The bizzarro Superman looks just like Superman only pastyfaced and rocklike.

Sticking with the Bizarro theme, though, your suggestions don't work. Superman is good and strong, Bizarro Superman is bad and strong. This is why:

Jerry is neat and selfish, and Bizarro Jerry is neat and sharing. Jerry's apt is small and to the left, Bizarro's is small to the right.

Everything doesn't have to be the complete opposite, just some of the things.
