Elaine Benes: Hell on Wheels

Well, to follow up on an earlier thread, after tonight's (5/9) episode, we now know why Elaine doesn't drive. And tell me if I'm crazy for thinking this, but when Elaine first mentioned the car, did anyone else wonder, even for a moment, that they plucked that thread right off of the newsgroup?
