Seinfeld's greatest episode

Of all the shows that Seinfeld has done, the "Master of My Domain" episode was the funniest one. Hands down...

mine was The Marine Biologist.. but more than that what i like most is the tight conitniuty between episodes that i love!!!

I like the one ware they park in the Handycap spot. That is a clasic episode in my opinion. Just my 2 cents.

     My absolute favourite episode is Marine Biologist...
     I think my brother and I laughed for 15 minutes when George
     pulled out the Titelist golf ball...the look on Kramer's face
     and then his comment  "A hole in one"....just sums up Seinfeld.
     My stomach was so sore,
     I thought the cheever Letters was brilliant...when Jerry was
     getting dirty with Elaine's secratary and he said "The panties
     your mother laid out for you" and she got mad and left.  At the
     end of that episode, Jerry was relieved that the secretary didnt
     tell Elaine about that comment, and when Elaine left Jerry's
     apartment, she said "I might go visit my mother, she bought me
     some new panties and she has them all laid out for me"!!!!!!

absolute CLASSIC!!!

I think my favorite episodes are the Elaine dance(kicking up her legs and throwing back her arms) and The Nip (picture on the christmas card taken by Kramer). They were GREAT.

It's SO hard to pick one favorite, but the marine biologist is one of my favorites. Just the way it all ties together is hilarious. The sea was angry that day my friends. Like an old man sending back soup at a deli.

George likes making these "old man" references, I guess. He made one recently saying something like, "like an old man lowering himself in to the bathtub".

For me, the best episode was "The Contest." It was about, er, a contest between Elaine, George, Kramer, and Seinfeld.

My favourite ones are "Master of Your Domain", and the one where Kramer
spills the coffee and he gets 'Jackie the Lawyer'...

     Who told you to put the balm on?
     I didn't tell you to put the balm on.
     Do you know what a balm is?"

Another good show was the "can't spare a square" trouble Elaine was having. Also on this show was George being told to "step off" by Elaine's mimbo boyfriend......

FROM ME: The episode I'm thinking about is a couple of years old where Jerry and Elaine visit Jerry's parents and Elaine sleeps on their hide-a-bed. She suffers major back pain the following day so someone gives her muscle relaxers (too many, of course) and you hear her say/scream over and Over "Stella! Stella!" Anybody remember that one?

Another favorite episode or just the idea was fun was one Elaine tested positive for drugs because she ate poppy seed muffins. I can never eat another poppy seed muffin without thinking about that entire episode.

Does anyone else besides me think that the funniest scene has to be in "The Gum" when Jerry is wearing those stupid-looking coke bottle glasses? I don't know why I laughed so hard at that but I actually couldn't breathe for about a minute when I first saw it. My girlfriend and I were falling on the floor during this part!

I agree entirely! mostly because I have an aunty with glasses like that!

I believe you are mistaken or a little confused. In the "Master of My Domain" episode, Elaine meets John(?) Kennedy Jr. The JFK episode the others are talking about is the one with Keith Herendez and the spitting incident ("There must have been a second spitter!"). The reference here is to the JFK assissination, and henced referred to as the JFK episode.

There has to be a distinction otherwise there could be about 10 shows called JFK; Elaine has encounters with him (or there were references to him) in more than show. I've always thought that the JFK was the Keith Hernandez show. Any other reference to JFK was to JFK Jr.

The episode with Keith Hernandez is "The Boyfriend." It's Jerry's favorite.

The Master of My Domain episode concerns Elaine breaking down over JFK jr. The episode people are talking about concerning JFK is the hour long episode with Keith Hernandez. They spoofed JFK trying to determine if Hernandez spit on Kramer and Newman. This is Monday so I'm sure somebody has already responded to your question, but here's another since I said I liked you.

That's what these shows are named. We should all agree to abide by the show naming conventions followed in the Entertainment Weekly Seinfeld Companion (I know it's unofficial, but there isn't an official one) It yellow... I have it...

There is no contest here... They are all the best... All of these were good shows... but the best season by far was the fourth (fall '92), the way each episode tied into each other was the best... it was like a mini-series, but without all that crappy drama...

Yes, the first seasons were short, but they were of different production runs as the other ones, and are therefore different seasons.

In the traditional sense, this is the third full season. After this season is over, there will have been about 3.5 seasons' worth of shows, *not* 5.

Season should be defined the same way the networks define it. Just cause there have been x number of shows doesn't mean there have been x/y seasons.

That's what I thought also, but on numerous interviews with the members of the cast or shows about Seinfeld (the show), they say that this is the fifth...

I have to agree... everyonce and a while when I need a good laugh I pop that tape in the VCR and laugh my ass off... It's too bad they didn't do so well with the orgasm episode... I think it would have been better if they would have avoided using the world orgasm, just as they did with the MoMD show...

My three favorites:
1.  Kramer tries to burst in but Jerry locked the door and he ran into it.
    (I think this one was the episode when Jerry's television got stolen
     (the precursor to "The Keys"?????))
2.  Kramer comes in and spins on his heel, still in the position to open door
    (what happened in this episode? anyone remember this one?)
3.  The Feb 17th '94 show where Kramer ran into the door on his way out and
    gave it a funny look.

dunno. I remember this entry almost vividly but have no idea which episode it was in.

My favorite is from "The Pick" when he's struggling to get in against Jerry trying to keep him out (so Kramer won't smell "The Ocean" which Tia (Van Camp) was wearing) and Kramer's reaction when he sees Tia in the Apartment. (Like he's saying "wellll, hellooo there...")

"...but I just wanted to borrow your Dust Bus-ter." ==:^}

The Boyfriend - Kramer enters to see Keith Hernandez, spins around and after a brief exchange, Newman enters and they get on Keith about the "spitting" incident. Keith says he saw the "second spitter" up behind the bushes on the gravelly road. Things get ironed out, and K & N agree to help Keith move his furniture - something Jerry couldn't bring himself to do ("pretty soon you'll be driving him to the airport")

My favorite episode - with the classic line "And you want to be my latex salesman!?"

I think the number 2 you're wondering about is in the boyfriend. Kramer bursts in and does a 360 and kind of a double take when he sees Keith Hernandez. My favorite entrance of all time.

I liked this one because it was sort of an inside joke. Someone watching the show for the first time might have no idea what was so funny. I liked Jerry's reaction after Kramer hits the door.

^^^^^^^^ The stolen TV episode was MUCH earlier, (George still had a job then), but I seem to remember it being rerun at about the same time as the keys.
