No, it wasn't as good as the Chinese Restaurant, or the Parking Garage. It lacked the cerebral quiet humor of those episodes, because Seinfeld has grown into being more of a physical comedy. But it was humerous, and it was very reminiscent of those episodes. I think it was great that they made one last attempt to recapture the magic of the central theme of Seinfeld, the show about nothing. In some ways, hard core fans of the show might even consider this the Finale.

Hard core Seinfeld fans are just licking their chops for next week's Larry David-written episode. If it's anywhere near as dark and sarcastic as his classics, we'd gladly accept that as the farewell show.

I thought the best part was when Varnson, Pennypacker, and Vandalay all met at the apartment. It was like a Marx Brothers routine.
And how about Elaine's comment when she got out of Jerry's car: "I've been trying to leave this group for ten years!"
And the irony -- 'Last of the Mohicans' was on WPTT at the same time. :)

For heaven's sake Seinfeld fans, for the second-to-last-episode, this was a huge let down.

Justin, I've agreed with you that the shows since last year have been disappointing. But didn't you think this one was better than most shows this season? I thought it was more true to what Seinfeld was originally about than probably any episode in the last 2 years, and the characters seemed less a caricature of themselves (maybe except for George) than what we've seen for a long time. Maybe it was no classic, but I know I was glad to see this "about nothing" type of show as the second to last.
