Soup Nazi Response

So the REAL soup nazi has some comments about the end of Seinfeld. This is a quote from the Toronto Star newspaper. It seems the characterization of the man was right on.

                   But not everybody is a fan of Seinfeld -
                   the man or the show.

                   Al Yeganeh, the model for the
                   authoritarian soup chef made famous in the
                   ``Soup Nazi'' episode, took deep offence
                   at the use of the word ``Nazi.''

                   ``When that clown idiot came to my place
                   to apologize, I tell him what an idiot he
                   is and I tell him to say it to the
                   world,'' Yeganeh said in an interview.

                   Yeganeh kept his small Soup Kitchen
                   International shop in Manhattan closed
                   yesterday in an attempt to avoid the
                   fallout from Seinfeld's decision.

                   ``That guy, he make me crazy with all the
                   publicity, I burn my soup and my quality
                   goes down because I am constantly
                   distracted,'' a flustered Yeganeh said.

I guess its... No Soup For You, Jerry.

My response to him is to stop whining. Ingrate! Isn't it all businesses dreams to publicize their product nationally and draw many customers to therefore make lots of cash?

More like "NO SHOW FOR YOU!"

What is with this guy? I can understand if he's bothered by celeb-sniffers and people who try to get under his skin so he'll blow up at them, but if he can't even run a successful business without the world playing by his rigid rules, maybe he needs a new flavor: Cream of Prozac!

Yup. All those mentions. All that free advertising. How many people show up here asking for the street address of "Monk's" so they can spend their money there while in NY?

I read these quotes weeks ago, BEFORE the fatal announcement. Although, I can't figure his attitude has changed any.......

I heard a radio interview with Al "Soup Nazi" Yegeneh today. His attitudes are:

• He is glad Jerry "the clown" is leaving television.

2. The quality of the soup has gone down, and he has lost money due to the publicity.

I won't address number one. That's his opinion. However, Al Y. is a wacko. Why doesn't he just shut up and make the soup. His distractions occur because he is so picky and temperamental. I don't know the facts, but I have to assume that much publicity must have boosted his soup sales.

On the other hand, I have great respect for him because he hasn't sought out this publicity. His interviews that I saw or heard were not solicited by him. He has a lot of class for not personally milking his association with Seinfeld.

He should just lighten up.
