The "real" George Steinbrenner

I haven't read the TV Guide Article about George Steinbrenner doing his own character, but I remember when they first conceived the character. Eitherthey asked the real "big Stein" if he'd like to do it or a reporter asked him about it (it was during Spring Training, I remember) and he said something to the effect "I'm a very busy man running this baseball team, I have absolutely no time to do a television show". I'm torn between wanting to see him in a comedic role (since he is the exact opposite of that in everything public he does as the Yankee owner) and the letdown I would feel when and if it actually happened. No way it could live up to my wildest expectations. The only moment I felt worse was when we found out Kramer's first name.
