Michael Richards as a cop?

I read where Michael Richards was interested in doing a series as a detective in a comedy series. I don't know the name of the actor who plays Newman, but he and Richards seem to have a real chemistry when they do scenes together. How about the two of them in a detective sit-com? Do you feel as I do about their chemistry?

Good call. Kramer also played a detective of sorts in "the Sniffing Accountant". I think the character suits him.
