As a longtime NG reader, especially alt.tv.simpsons, I thought I'd check out the seinfeld NG to see what the responses were to the last show. Little did I know that this group is peopled with uncouth illiterates whose idea of a contradictory response is "you're gay, man" or "you're a dumbass". I guess I'll stick to NG's for shows with a dedicated, cult-like following, instead of massively popular ones, which apparently appeal to a large share of uninspired, uncreative folks. It's too bad, really, because this show could have inspired some really spirited, intelligent discussion. Not here, though.

They insult other fans, and the show itself, by acting that way, and by responding to criticism of "The Puerto Rican Day" episode by putting down Puerto Ricans in an obviously bigoted way. You can disagree with the criticism (as I do) without being a complete bigot. IMHO, these people don't represent the more intelligent "Seinfeld" fans, and they sure as hell don't represent *me*.
