a huge loss- Marjorie Gross

I was shocked to find out that Marjorie Gross had passed away. Marjorie was a producer and writer for two of my favorite shows of all time, "Seinfeld" and "Get a Life." I beleive she also wrote an episode of "The Larry Sanders Show," another wondeful comedy. It is truly a tremendous loss for comedy televison. Marjorie was a true talent, and she will be greatly missed.

If we were all "good Seinfeld fans" we would not say "oh well, anybody want to order takeout?" Because this is real life. A talented person and intrical part of the Seinfeld magic has died. She was not a charchter like Susan. I assume your comment was regarding the bit about Susan dying. Susan, a telvison charchter is not real. Marjorie Gross is not a fictional charachter, she is real. Her death does affect me. "Susan's" does not.

Marjorie Gross was not on SNL (as far as I know), that was actress Mary Gross.

Chris Elliot. He is the son of Bob Elliot of the old Bob and Ray act. Chris was a writer for the old Letterman show and Bob Elliot shows up on Prairie Home Companion a fair amount. They both have a great sense of dryness and wackiness simutaneously. Bob Elliot is like Bob Newhart plus Elmer Fudd divided by two.

Chris Eliot was the star of "Get a Life". I agree, that was a pretty darn good show... He's been on Saturday Night Live a few times and has been great there... or, wait, is he a regular on it now??
