OK I remember George talking about the "buffer zone" and how he was embarrased to go to the toilet in a girlfriends apartment as the bathroom opened straight in to the living room. I'd totally forgotten about tonight's episode though (The Shower Head - UK Paramount) where Jerry and George talk about the 1200 mile "buffer zone" between New York and Florida. Any more mentions of "buffer zones"?
And no-one's shed any light on the instant coffee conundrum yet either!?!

That was Kramer and Jerry. Ramone "The Pool Guy" eventually takes the seat that was supposed to be the buffer zone.

I rent a flat from my mom and dad in Gloucester. They live 9 miles away in Newent. I have a nine-mile buffer zone (perfect for getting washing done!).
Now they're moving into my flat, buffer zone goes down to 0. So, I'm now buying a flat in Newent, so I can retain it. Eak.
