Some of us are obsessed with discovering the religious persuasion of every character on Seinfeld. Why? To what end? This topic and question seems to multiply every time I download this newsgroup. It is an annoying, bothersome and uninteresting discussion that serves no purpose. I'm sure that quite a few of you agree. Could we please knock it off?

I think newsgroups in general have a life of their own. Apparently there are plenty of people who do enjoy pondering the way the writers are toying with us regarding George's clearly Jewish/clearly Gentile status! Is that clear?
