In the Statue episode what is the deal with the statue? Did Rava's boyfriend actually steal it? Any idea why? What about that rigmarole of having bought it in Chinatown or wherever and the shopkeeper now being in Singapore?
Seinfeld is not deep stuff, it should not leave the viewers to puzzle things out.

I'm not sure what "deep" has to do with it, but if you want television that spells every detail out so viewers don't have to "puzzle things out," there's plenty to choose from. I prefer shows (like Seinfeld) that acknowledge the audience's intelligence.
