Just when I thought this season's fantasies would never top the "cigar" scene, I've seen exciting and new fantasies to come! I've just seen the preview for this week's show. Elaine has her THIRD official hair style of the series. (We're talking MAJOR changes, folks, obviously she makes minor, beautiful adjustments each week.) The new look--which I only glimpsed--has made me come unglued. Lanie is beautiful in every configuration, of course, but in the brief 1 sec. clip I saw, I believe her new hair might be the greatest of all. I won't even try to describe it, because as a human being, I have not nearly enough power to explain the beauty and wonder that makes up Elaine Marie Benes. Suffice it to say, come Thursday night I will be hunkered down on my couch, waiting for her to move across the screen...ahhh...I can see her now...in my mind's eye....she's walking...she's talking....and I am dreaming...and floating......away.
Elaine's New Hair
Fans are ecstatic about Elaine's new hairstyle in the upcoming episode, comparing it to 1960s James Bond aesthetics, praising it as her best look yet.

W.T. is not just thrifty, he borders on the poetic. But his prose is also intermingled with signs of computer sophistication. Notice how he refers to her 'configuration', rather than 'style', and how he actually went to the trouble of timing the length of the clip in which we see her new hairdo (1 sec). Signs of scientific accumen that accompanies a PhD. I was just disappointed he didn't say he was going to capture her image on his PC and produce an enlarged digitized poster of her for his bedroom. What a let down.
But how can such a distinguished name as "W.T. Pfefferle" be associated with an e-mail address like '[email]'? It makes you wonder, DOESN'T it...

Monty is right, of course. At around the 12 minute mark of tonight's episode -- right when she did the little dance -- I had to turn the TV off. It was just too much. Lanie, you are killing me. Tomorrow I will wake up refreshed and watch the last 18 minutes on video...stopping, of course, when it becomes too much.

As I expected, the poetic Dr. Pfefferle was undeniably incisive in his appraisal of Elaine's new coif. It was breathtaking. Remaniscent of the James Bond women of the 60's combined with the sassiness of the 90's woman. A style to be envied, copied. How do you like them apples, Jennifer.

I wonder why we haven't seen an episode where Elaine comments specifically about her hair, saying something like "Jerry, what do you think about my hair? Should I try something new?" And then Kramer will turn around and say "Well, why don't you use the stuff that you're promoting on TV? How can people believe you until they see you using it yourself??"

These changes in hairstyle make me think about Counselor Troi on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Marina Sirtis went through many different styles on the show, some good, some bad. As for Julia Louis-Dreyfus, I say this newest hair-do is a good one. It softens the previous look which I associate with the "evil Elaine". Come to think of it, both Jerry and Elaine were "evil" this episode, trying to swoop in on the separating couple. So I guess she is still "evil".
