Who exactly resides in apartment 5E?

Newman? If so, then what was Phil (the one about the strongbox) doing living there with his maid/wife?

The first person I saw that was residing in apt 5E was Manny, the first super of Jerry's building that we see. This was in The Apartment. Jerry's girlfriend, Tawni, the owner of the fungus cat, Bonkers, was shown living in apt 5E in The Conversion. Newman was shown living in 5E is a couple of episodes, the first being The Calzone. However, in an earlier show The Doodle, Newman was in apt 5F. Finally, Fredo the bird's owner, Phil, was shown living in 5E in The Strongbox. I guess even in New York, people move in and out of aptarment buildings and some tenants, like Newman, actually move to different aprtaments within the same building.

I'm sure that guy always lived there, we just never saw him. The only information I remember about Newman's place is that it took the cock fighting rooster less than 30 seconds to run from Jerry's to Newman's.
