Jerry and his vomiting

In the black and white cookie episode Jerry says that his last vomit was in 1981. In the episode I saw tonight, The Dog one, Elaine and George talk about how funny it is when Jerry vomits. But Elaine also says that she'd been in NY for 6 years since 84! She's never seen him vomit!!! My word I have no life.

Neither do I.

Well, Jerry's on-air persona may not have been in the same league with George "My entire life is a lie" Costanza...but he was known to occasionally embellish small details of his past and present for effect. This "I haven't vomited since 1980" claim, was one of those times...

It is Elaine who raises the issue of the streak here, when earlier she has been shown to have seen him vomiting more recently than this. It's a continuity mistake.
