Whats up will all the sex in Bob Patterson?

Well I will have to say I was disapointed with the Bob Patterson show tonight. Why is it that these sitcom writers think that jokes about sex is the only thing that gets laughs these days. I dont' consider myself prude but I made my daughter leave the room because it got kind of embarasing.......

Hopefully they will tone it down....

Also I noticed they had a lot of "Canned Laughter" after jokes that wern't really that funny...... it looked kind of funny for that reason alone....

Well maybe it will get better.

Yup - the sex jokes didn't bother me, but it was just a crappy show. Bob Patterson is VERY much like George - but he's not George, so I found that very strange to watch, and I also felt bad for Jason Alexander because maybe he thinks he'll never be able to shake the 'George' persona that he has.

Anyway - all in all, pretty bad and I don't think I'll be tuning in to watch a second episode.

What I've noticed in sitcoms is these clowns (the sitcom writers--and movie writers, I understand) are having field days with "bathroom humor," particularly bathroom-humor language--"pushing the envelope" as it were.

Here, I am a prude. Tho' the "Poppy's a little sloppy" s/f episodes I thought wonderfully funny.

I'm thinking I should get cable so I'll have something to watch without all this nonsense. Say, Nickleodeon . . . .
