Jerry and cars

Does anyone have a clue why Jerry is so into cars ? He has a sports car poster on his wall, and in some episode, I'm not sure which one - George is reading a CAR&DRIVER magazine in Jerry`s apartment that I recognized (No one probably noticed that the article George was reading was just an ad). Plus Jerry is taking part in that car race.

I think he means Beamer, that is, a BMW.

No, I think he MEANT Bimmer, that is, a BMW.

Actually, a bimmer is a BMW car while a beamer is a BMW motorcycle. Anyways, I thought I saw him drive 90-93 Honda Accord on the show.

Jerry's car is defintiely a BMW, or beamer, or bimmer, however you like. Even in the new show.

pronounced 'beamer'. It is short for BMW.

Funny thing. I go to school in Upstate New York where there are a lot of people from a small city in NY called Poughkeepsie. IBM has a major presence in Pough-town. My friends call their parents who work for IBM "Beamers" Coming from Long Island NY, I naturally called BMW "bimmers". I guess you had to be there..... I was calling a car what my friends called their parents...

Jerry is so into cars because he grew up in Long Island, I never met people so infatuated with the automobile (although I have never been to LA).

I thought this weekend's Saturday Night Live has got to be the worst that I've ever seen. There was not one amusing moment in it. I'm very disappointed in George

possibly the lamest seinfeld to date. anyway, it turns out kramer sold his extra ticket to crazy joe davola; so of course crazy joe will be sitting next to them during the opera. costanza sold his ticket to some overweight asian guy and did not end up attending i pagliacci.
