Am I the only one, or are there others of you that wanted to see Newmans bullet filled body lying in a filthy gutter in some alley? Man, I can't stand him! OK, now I have calmed down and you know what, I still feel the same way!

Personally, I like Newman. I think he adds to the show. He works well with Kramer.
some annoying weasel like Newman who will always rat you out? Let's not forget about the Drake's coffee cakes episode. What exactly are "bear claws" anyway...Newman seems to order these a lot. I think the show should have as much Newman as possible.
Michael Knight (the actor) is very talented...he's in that sit-com, "The Second Half" with John Mendoza (another stand-up comic) but I've only seen it once. Also, who among you can remember him looking at Sharon Stone's beaver in "Basic Instinct"....give the guy some credit! He's far better that Jason Alexander (he sucked in pretty woman).

He's here making a film called "Two by Four". My dad made a real fool of himself when I pointed him out to him: ran over, asked him if he was the t.v. star. To his credit, the Newman guy said "Well, I'm not a star, but I'm on t.v." My dad shook his hand and then ran down the street holding his hand in the air (a la George through Central Park). Reminds me of what happened a couple of weeks ago at the San Francisco Int'l Airport. My family and I had just gotten off the plane and were headed towards the rental car counter. This was around 9:00PM. I spot a woman in a chauffer's (sp?) outfit holding a sign up that said "C&S Transport". I go over and say "Excuse me, but do you have ice cold Bud Light in your C&S Transport?" She sort of rolls her eyes, smiles and pleads "Please don't ask me that!" . She must get that routine quite a bit. Anyway, my wife and my 16 year old son were embarassed and later said they couldn't believe I asked that question. It is from one of my favorite commercials, so it shouldn't have surprised them!

I can't stand him either! Ever since Jurassic Park, the image I get of this fat guy is of him at the computer, surrounded by tons of food and empty wrappers. Maybe a velociraptor can eat him -- after all, some of them escaped!

Read the book - Jurassic Park. Much better intellectually than the movie. The characters are really developed, including the one Newman portrayed (he dies ALOT worse in the book -you might enjoy this...). Malcom is the best, though.

(The whole episode had me in fits...especially the "I could've done more" scene.)

I think it is good that Jerry could put that scene in the show without fearing he would upset somebody.
It took me until the "this watch..." part until I made the connection.
BEST SCENE: Kramer falling down when "the close talker" meets him. Nobody, I mean Nobody can fall like Kramer.

Wayne Knight (Newman) was in Jurassic Park as Dennis Nedry. Jurassic Park, of course, was directed by Steven Spielberg. As was Schindler's List, which is the movie that Newman was attending when he saw Jerry and his girlfriend making out.

Definitely likes to take advantage of people in bad ways... like plotting to make an unfair trade for the radar detector or squeezing a year's free haircuts out of Enzo. Eventually, what goes around comes around, and Newman gets it in the end... I liked when he got hit in the face with Kramer's sand-filled shoe.

Woah there (not you, Andy). Hehe... a little Knight Rider reference there... it's Wayne Knight, not Michael Knight. Personally, I liked him best in Dead Again. He sucked in Jurassic Park (well, almost all of the cast did), and in JFK he was alright too, although I don't much care for Oliver Stone's latest works. But oh well.
Jason Alexander is my favorite character in Seinfeld. He really makes a scene work. One of my favorites is where he's in the hospital with his mom and then he sees the silhouette of the male nurse giving the male patient a sponge bath. The look on his face is so perfect! Or somewhat more recently, the way George is trying to conceal his lips while talking to Jerry about getting Laura the lineswoman to do his deeds. "It's a skill, just like juggling." Man, how the writers come up with strange lines like that, I have no idea. But they're funny, so I have no complaints.

I like the relationship between Newman and Jerry. They're like these two little kids who always hold a grudge between each other and pout if either don't get their way. It's really funny to watch that. The way Newman tattled on Jerry last week was great.
