'Something' for Seinfeld?

There could be a new Seinfeld show in the works - this time about something. Jerry Seinfeld hinted that he's considering a return to television during an interview last night on "Extra."
"I'm talking to NBC," the very rich funnyman announced, before stopping himself. "Oh, I can't talk about that yet."
His series about nothing - "Seinfeld" - was one of the most successful shows ever before leaving the air in 1998.
But any new show is likely to be about family life.
Seinfeld, who turns 50 next month, said in the interview that his family is now providing the fodder for his humor. He married Jessica Sklar in 1999 and the couple has two children.
"Kids and wives are the ultimate comedy," Seinfeld said. "I just sit in my house and write and watch these people and the insane things they do."
After the NBC show ended, Seinfeld did a live standup special for HBO and has turned up in cameos on shows such as "Curb Your Enthusiasm," which was created by "Seinfeld" co-creator Larry David.
Seinfeld also recently reunited the cast of "Seinfeld" to record updates for a DVD package. "We were just together over the weekend, looking for some old episodes and doing commentary on them," he said. "It was a lot of fun."
His "Extra" interview airs in two parts. The second segment is tonight at 7 on Channel 4.
