Today I was asking myself who was the greatest freak on the show... I mean: Who was a real freak?
One of my favorites is that guy who meets Elaine in a subway off Queens from the Costanzas house ("The Cigar-Store In"). He makes a bunch of flowers out of Franks TV Guide and visited the Costanzas... thats freaky! By the way: I think it's the same guy that designed a puppet after Elaines' outward appereance in a later Episode.

Nobody was freakier than Crazy Joe Davola. I mean, come on - his shrine to Elaine; laughing maniacally while burning himself with an open candle flame; sobbing hysterically while lifting weights; kicking Kramer in the head ("That's what I think of your party"); dressing up like a crazy clown and going to the opera...
Crazy Joe tops the freak list, IMO.

I agree that Crazy Joe Davola was a spectacular character, but the word FREAK doesn't come to mind when I think of him.
Thor Eckman was a true FREAK! (The healer that George went to to get over his tonsilitus.)
And for that matter, I always thought that Franklin D. Whatshis Name that put the hex on Kramer was a real FREAK too!
Those are my two favorite freaks, outside of the K man himself who was extrodinary.
And if we'd ever seen him, Bob Sacamano probably would have been the freakiest of all!

I loved that guy who made a bouquet for Elaine out of Frank's TV Guide. There were so many great characters, but here are a few that come to mind.
1. The Moyle - The guy performing the circumcision at the Bris (Shaky the Moyle). The scene where he lectures Elaine about putting her glass so close to the edge of the coffee table was classic. 2. The Vietnam Vet - The crazy vet that worked for Elaine at Peterman's, writing product descriptions. I laughed my ass off when he read the following idea for a Peterman Catalogue product description:
It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife; the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sun up. Sleep tight, mates, in your quilted Chambray nightshirts.
3. Smuckers. The dog that coughed. 4. Kenny Bania - The comedian that Jerry hated. "You're supposed to buy me dinner in a nice restaurant, like Mendy's."
