Error in episode

In the second run of the Betrayal, they cut some parts out....

1) When Elaine asks Jerry what time it is and he says that she just asked him 2 min. ago 2) Two minute earlier when Elaine asks what time it is and Jerry says he's not wearing a watch. Also, Elaine discovers that she has chipped a tooth but doesn't know why (b/c of the snapps bottle). 3) After FDR throws the snowball at Kramer, they cut out the part that says FDR put a rock in it and Kramer says he felt it.

Some friends of mine have speculated that they cut out the rock part b/c of some kid doing it, but I really find that hard to believe that Seinfeld would do such a thing. That still doesn't explain 1 & 2.

There was an episode of "Mad about You where" Jamie found out Paul was still keeping his bachelor apartment and forced him to give it up. Paul went to visit the "weird" guy he had sublet the apartment to in order to inform him that he was giving up the apartment. The guy turned out to be Kramer.

During their conversation, Paul asked Kramer whatever happened to the guy across the Hall - Jerry. This would indicate to me that Jerry lived in the building before Kramer moved in on a sublet.

Recently during that wedding in India episode where they went backwards, they went to back to the very beginning and showed Jerry moving into the building and Kramer coming over visit his "new" neighbour. I guess when they did the India episode they fogot about the Mad about you episode.

This has been discussed before: In my opinion, the error isn't necessarily an error on Seinfeld's part. Remember, you were watching an episode of "Mad About You" that aired during Seinfeld's fourth season, as I recall Kramer answered Paul Reiser with "He's writing a sitcom for NBC." Anyway, that little cameo by Kramer has nothing to do with "Seinfeld," its just an inconsistency between two shows. However, if Paul Reiser were to have ever appeared on "Seinfeld" claiming to be subletting Kramer's apartment to him, then we would have a problem.
