Kessler, are we any closer?

I'm not sue if this has been discussed before, (i'm trying to think of new topics after seeing the figures for last year), but have we managed to unearth the Kessler origins yet. I know that this was given because Kenny Kramer hadn't decided about using his name yet, but why Kessler.

I have noticed a few interesting tie-ins though. 1) The obvious reference to Martin Kessler in The Blood 2) Judge Reinhold, (Aaron, the close talker, the raincoats), played a character called Ken Kessler in 1986, Ruthless People. He later played Steve Kessler in "Secret Service Guy" in 1997, after Seinfeld. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001662/

Also, to make this a more interesting post than one reply, where did some of the other recurring characters get their names from? Newman, Bob Saccamanno, sue ellen mishky, kenny bania, etc.

And in The Betrayal (like in The Chronicles), Jerry called him Kessler as it said so in his buzzer. Kramer corrected that it was actually Kramer. Why he wouldn't bother to change that? And shouldn't it say Buchman as Kramer was subletting the apartment from Paul Buchman, who supposedly lived his bachelor years there?
