I think I read somewhere that it was one of his dreams to be on Star Trek TNG and was disapointed when the series ended.

That was true. Jason is a huge William Shatner fan and it has long been a dream of his to walk the halls of the Enterprise. I guess Voyager will have to do. I'm sure he had a great time making the episode.

How old is he? If he grew up watching the first star trek, this is understandable. only NOW in comparison with NG and others does it seem almost laughable.
