correct Never in the US have all 180 eps been played back2back
the only station we have the might do this in time will be TBS....however those in the US that have viewed the TBS shows will tell you it's almost not worth it.. as the majority of regions receive below average audio levels as well as the end of the eps being jacked up with massive TBS logos...
maybe in time we might be priviledged to having a marathon....but that might not happen for a while :-(
I think it would be a terrible mistake by the owners of the programs. Seinfeld is now on two episodes a night her and one of those episodes can be seen at two different times. On Wednesday four episodes. The time between repeats gets too short and I find myself tuning out once in a while lately, even on episodes I like. Once one gets out of the habit one is gone forever. At least that is my viewing habit. I used to watch reruns of several shows, but once I quit, the cycle was broken and I never seem to have a desire to go back. YMMV.
With a back to back playing people would tape them all and after that would see a rerun and say "Oh, I have that on tape, let's watch something else". In fact I already have most of them on tape but they are disorganized and cluttered with bad cutting and so on so I never watch them. But I would be first in line with a bunch if fresh tapes if there was an 180 episode orgy. It's an attitude thing. At least with me.
Absolutely. A DVD should only be made by a series in its death throes. Just like filming a "Let's get rid of the brewery and move to California" season.
When the marathon was on here in Australia I taped all the episodes, and even though I have them all I still find myself watching the episodes on TV. Whether it's on tape or on TV, when Seinfeld is on, I watch it.
You're a rubbin anti-listite! Next thing you're saying they should have their own school.
I live alone and I have to eat alone, but:
I hate TV (I was lucky to find about Seinfeld); I hate movies (true: the last movie I saw was... I don't even remember!) I hate radio; I hate reading; I hate staring at the wall in front of me.
So I organized all my Seinfeld tapes in chronological order, retaped the ones with scenes missing, and removed the commercials.
And when I'm eating, instead of watching the white wall in front of me, I watch my Seinfeld tapes. Always in chronological order, and I push STOP on the VCR as soon as I'm done eating. That's it. I never watch Seinfeld in other circumstances and I don't care if I don't laugh at every jokes. It's just a ritual and a way to remember how Seinfeld made me laugh in the past and how it changed my life.
So I can say that I'm doing a permenant Seinfeld marathon. I may have seen all the episodes back to back close to a hundred times.
