Yankees win the Pennant

Watching the game last night, I was thinking what a great coup it would have been to somehow get Jason Alexander (in character of course) into the Yankee's clubhouse for the pennant celebrations. Even if they only got 30 seconds of decent footage, it would have been great for upcoming episodes.

George Steinbrenner was not available so he sent his son Hal. O.K. makes sense.....but with all the shameless self promotion NBC is famous for you'd think they would have capitlaized on this moment and gotten Jason/George some airtime.....

At the very least, it would make for some great promo material or 'trailers' for advertising purposes.

YYYeah, too bad, that would have been a great idea.

Ever since George has been employed by the Yankees, they have done nothing but make the playoffs in 1995 for the first time in 14 years and win the division and the pennant in 1996, making the world series for the first time in 15 years.

Seinfeld probably will do somthing to the effect of George's impact on the Yankess, or at least they should capitalize on this lucky coincidence.

How about having George responsible for that big mess concerning Steinbrenner's refusal to let the players' wives travel with the team?

How about Jason/George standing there with Joe Torre ready to accept the trophy, and at the last second, Hal stepping in and saying, "Hey, VanDelay towing wasn't towing my limo. What are you doing accepting the trophy. Guards, take this guy away!"
