Elaine and her shrink

I've been finding the affair between Elaine and her shrink extremely upsetting. Perhaps I'm being oversensitive, but to treat the abuse of position by the doctor as lightly as Seinfeld treats everything else seems in poor taste. I find it distinctly unfunny. (Okay, Kramer in the chair was funny...)
