Fans debate whether "The Fatigues" is one of the worst episodes ever or actually funny, with divided opinions on the storylines involving George's dad, the Jewish singles mixer, and Elaine's coworker.
I saw it again the other night: The episode which George's dad has the "flashback" when he helps Kramer cook for the Jewish singles...
It really, really sucked. To go from the the best episode ever (The Assman) to this one was an anomaly; perhaps the writers wanted to try something out of character and unpredictable. Who knows?

I thought it was one of the funniest. Elaine's co-worker on his military bent, and of course Frank's outburst at the end of the episode. Plus, Bania was "gold, Jerry, gold".
I agree. Dumb story ideas all around. Nobody is stupid enough to attempt seasoning meat back to freshness (and don't nobody say "oh, ive done that"). That Elaine story was completely tedious. They make her out to be so stupid.
The worst Ep in a long time was "The Nap". The Cooking episode is marginal, but not bad.
