Superman on Seinfeld

Supposedly every episode ever filmed of Seinfeld contains a Superman doll. I've never seen it, but then again I never knew about it until today, nor am I more than a casual viewer. Has anyone seen this? Why do they do this? Any info you can provide would help my curiousity.

the Superman doll is -not- in every episode!!!!! it is in many episodes, but it ain't a big thing. it's just a doll on his vcr in his home entertainment unit. it stands to reason that he has the doll, because a big deal is constantly made about jerry's fanatic devotion to superman. also, it doesn't appear at all in the first season, because said entertainment unit wasn't in that season (the apt. went through a major renovation- i.e. there was no Klein mpountain bike on the wall then). Just to clear this up, the superman doll is no gimmick, it is a minor prop, in some ep.'s and not others (depending upon if the camera shoots there).

Remember, there was no interior shot of jerry's in "the Hamptons".

Superman does NOT appear in EVERY episode. Anyone who tells you any different is wrong. It is just a rumor.

Yes there is always a a superman and quite often Jerry mentions him during
the show(Bizzaro World). The one I usually see is the plastic Superman
model on Jerry's stereo stand. I personally would like to see a show where
there is a Superman wearing new sneakers while eating cheerios. Maybe Jerry
could play the part on a halloween show. George: You're dressing for the
party kinda early aren't you?
             Jerry: (eating a bowl of cheerios in a super man costume sans
boots) Oh, this? I was just checking to see if it fit properly.
           George: Oh yeah, then where are the boots?
              Jerry: (holding up a brand new pair of sneakers) I'll be
wearing these babies!
              An argument insues in which the lack of sneakers on Krypton,
and the authenticity of a Superman wearing them are the main topics.
             All kinds of mayhem errupts around the wearing of the
sneakers.
            We could even bring in the Gay Mean Guys to harras Jerry about
it.
           Maybe somewhere he could say, "I choose not to wear the boots."

Actually, I just heard about this too. But, I think its something superman, not, necessarily just a doll. I heard this about a month ago, and, I look for it in every episode now. I have seen it as a magnet, a picture, a t-shirt, and a doll.

Also notice the Superman magnet that's on Jerry's refrigerator.
