I know some of you may have seen a recent post on this subject and thanks again for clearing it up but I must protest at these accusation and digs about me being from England and not knowing what it stands for (E-mail is nice but when you have 19 messages saying the same thing the novelty wears off). Firstly we, like the rest of the world, have converted to the metric system and have been so for the majority of my life. Therefore all our phsyics books deal in kilowatts, kilograms and somthing else i can't remeber because i was to busy drawing mod targets and dreaming of scooters to give a toss for phsyics. Secondly I, like most of the UK, haven't got an air-conditoner, in case you don't know our weather sucks, although we are enjoying a nice bit of sun at the moment. Which brings me on to my third point, so i am British. I do however not wear a deer stalker, talk like Dick Van Dyke or get lost in the fog of old London town. In case you are not aware we used to rule a third of this world, including America, until you kicked our tea drinking arses back across the Atlantic, and we have left a lot of our influences behind such as the Indians devotion to cricket and, it seems, the way that the USA rate their cooling/heating products. I'm sorry to be so off hand with you all but I had to get this off my chest, it's bad enough we have to pick up your sit-com crumbs two years after you've finished with them but to have my knowledge of phsyics questioned just isn't fair. Don't get me wrong I love that you have leaped to my aid over this issue what I don't understand is why you all had to be so bloody cruel.
