LOL! I normally don't point out punctuation mistakes, but this "correction" is hilarious. I can't tell if Sam is just joking, or if he's really sincere and has absolutely no clue on when to use "your" and "you're". Considering that he frequently misuses them, I'm afraid it might be the latter...
With this comical misuse of "would of" instead of "would have" (and even "wouldn't of" instead of "wouldn't have" in the following sentence, proving it's not just a typo!), I think we have our answer. Sam, I recommend you avoid "correcting" other people's use of contractions from now on. :-)

Hey, wait--I think I was correct: since people is already plural, I believe it would just be "people's use" (that is, belonging to the "people" rather than the "peoples"). But if we substitute a different word with a plural form ending in "s" (e.g. "boys"), then we'd use the "s' " ending ("boys' use of contractions"). Maybe. Any English majors here?

That is because I find the punctuation issue to be exceedingly insignificant. I'll admit I'm not the best writer and when I post on Usenet I do not try to be. It is very common for people to use shortcuts while they post in forums, grammar shouldn't be an issue. At least I get my point across to the best of my ability and I can confidently say that my ability is intellectually appropriate.
It's comical how this whole issue of net coping and control has turned into English 101. They cannot control what's being posted so they resort to grammar insults.
Bottom line, if not I, I'm sure numerous others will continue to seek offers of trade regarding seinfeld episodes in this forum. Best advice to avoid confrontation is to ignore those messages and put the users address on killfile. If you want confrontation, reply to those messages as did Ratboyy. Sarcastically throw an insult to the poster; I'm sure other control freaks will follow.

BTW - don't get me wrong - I believe selling illegally dvd-ripped copies of copyrighted movies or trading illegally obtained copies of movies that aren't even released yet outside theaters *is* morally wrong.
