Does KRAMER have a job?

Well, does he? Now that I think about it, I can't ever remember hearing any references to him working anywhere. And another thing: do they ever show his apartment's interior? I noticed that we saw some of it when he was watching TV on the 01/30/97 episode, but I can't remember ever having seen it on any other episode. I'd like to decorate in his same style (yowch).

We saw Kramers apartment a least a couple of times (probably more). The first time I can think of was when Kramer bought a hot tub and fell asleep in it, another time this season was when Kenny Rodgers Chicken moved across from him and he couldn't sleep because of the freakish neon glow and Jerry slept there instead,and another time we saw his living room was when he was the "movie listing recorder guy".

About his job, He's a "get rich quick kinda guy", he's always trying to come up with ways to make money fast. Didn't he go into theaters and tape movies with a camcorder?. I know Jerry did it, but didn't he too?, how about him and Newman in the mail truck taking cans across the border!!!

There's a whole episode where he works in an office building. Other than that, he doesn't work, but i making little bits of money through his "schemes" such as the coffee table book and cashing in the pop cans, etc. Not enough cash, though, to support his lifestyle (even though he mooches most stuff off of Jerry!)

We also got a little shot of Kramer's apt in "the Briss"'s final shot, where the husband-and-wife are shooed in Kramer's apt, door half-open, Jerry and Elaine staring into it.

No, I don't believe Kramer ever has or ever will have a real job. Yes we have seen the inside of his apartment in the episode where he makes love to a girl on the coffee table. Also the epsode where he has the spa bath in his lounge room & he falls asleep in it. Good luck with the renovations! Cheers

no, kramer does not have a job. though, he did work once at a buisness, but he never got hired, then he got fired. he lives off money from his parents. Jerry made a reference once to it how kramer had never worked a day in his life. --brian

Not as far as I know - Jerry and Elaine seem to be always telling him that he does nothing.

I'm new to this news group, but I wanted to respond to this message. You=20 are right, Kramer has no job. Occassionally he had "stints," such as the=20 Calvin Klein underwear thing, but never any real, steady job. Does anyone= =20 know where he gets money for food, rent? Or, does he just get all his=20 food from Jerry's fridge?
