... into your hearts it must creep. The medical conspiracy was a pretty good storyline. It however did point out one of the big weaknesses of this whole show - the characters complete intractability and inability to learn from their mistakes in life.
No matter how many goofy plots screw up their lives the Seinfeld characters continue to come up with them. George screwing up another potential relationship, Elaine trying to steal "The Chart", and most of all Jerry allowing Kramer to plot to get him a new stereo showed the lack of growth on the part of these characters. How many times will Jerry and the others allow themselves to be drawn into Kramer's goofy plots before they realize none of them has ever worked - didn't he even screw up his free coffee for life? And how many cute women does George have to lose, before he is tries being honest - "Hi, I'm an overweight, bald, insecure, middle-aged man, but I really like you and would like to go out with you" - this would at least give the women the right to reject George for the right reasons.
I know that this is comedy, but it would be nice if they came up with something other than the umpteenth variation of the same tired plot lines. Even Doug Ross appears to finally be learning something from his mistakes, but not not Jerry, et. al.
