"Maybe the dingo ate your baby"

I assumed the "Maybe the dingo ate your baby" line from last nights episode was a quote from some movie (kinda lie "STELLA!"). Does anyone know which one ? Even without knowing what it referenced, I thought it was funnier than hell given Elaine's expression and accent.

But has anyone recorded and uploaded any Seinfeld sound-bites to any of the anonymous FTP sites. I've got a Macintosh and would be most interested in Seinfeld sound in a Mac format. Seems like there are so many great, short lines in Seinfeld that it would only natural to record the sounds for a computer "start-up" sound or some kind of error beep.

Anybody interested in doing any of the recording? I'd do it myself except my Mac has no way to input sound. E-mail me if you need to know where to upload the sounds. A lot of us here at ISU would *love* Seinfeld sounds, especially: "Maybe the dingo ate your baby."

Everytime I read that, I heard Elaine's voice inside my head. I crack up.

It's from "A Streetcar Named Desire." In a film adaptation of this Tennesee Williams play, Marlon Brando was the one who screamed that line.

Some friends of mine who went to Tulane created a fictional Mardi Gras organization called the "Krewe of Stella"...I grew up in N.O., so I'd go down there for M.G., Jazz fest, etc...and everyone would go see the Radiators at Tip's until 5 a.m. or so (the Mon. nite before Mardi Gras day), and then go watch the sun rise over the Miss. River, then once the sun was up, run thru the streets of the French Quarter and d'town screaming...what else?...."STELLA!!!!" It was zany..madcap...:^)
