John Voight Le Baron. Convertible or Hard Top?

Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law in big squable over the, imitation John Voight Le Baron was a hard top or convertible!

George was driving around with the top down and Jerry was bitching about the cold. That's when they got in an argument and Jerry made a couple of cracks about Barbara Mandell's skateboard and Gregory Peck's bicycle. George threw him out of the car and a couple of street thugs harassed him for wearing cowboy boots.

I guess the point is, yes, it was a convertible

He says, "I can't help but think that if it was a convertible, this whole thing might have been avoided, but I was never the type to buy a convertible, what with the baldness and all." Nope, it was a convertible. Know how I know? Because in the very episode that George buys the car, he takes Jerry for. The top is down and Jerry says to him, "For goodness sakes put the top up, it's 40 degrees out" (or smething similar). Jerry then finds the car manual that says "John Voight" instead of "Jon" and George throws him out of the car....

Perhaps the Bris took place before this one, thus explaining it. I don't really know.

Yikes! LOL I feel stupid...that was a different car! The LeBaron was in fact a convertible...it was the one George bought after the car in "The Bris," I believe.

Got your time line mixed up, Michael.  George's car got in the way
of the jumper in "The Bris" (first aired 10/14/93), but it was a different
car because he didn't buy the LeBaron until "The Mom and Pop Store"
(first aired 11/17/94)  Maybe the talk with Mrs. Sweedler softened
George up on the whole baldness/convertible concept?

Nope, The car was owned by John Voight the Dentist but George thought it was Jon Voight the Actor.
