For you Wayne Knight (Neuman) spotters he recently appeared with Fran Drescher on the The Nanny show. I hesitated for some time to post this because in doing so I would have to admit that I watched The Nanny. But..I felt there was a need to know by Wayne Knight followers. My watching The Nanny was an aberration and I promise that I'll never do it again.

Aww, c'mon, The Nanny's pretty funny too. Seinfeld and Nanny share a New York Jewish cachet (sp?) that really make them work. It's natural to love one if you love the other.

Allow me to disagree. The humor on 'The Nanny' is more child freindly than on 'Seinfeld', there are kids on 'The Nanny', and Fran Drescher's voice is as irratating as all get out.
I watched it for a few weeks when it first came on but it didn't take me long to get real sick of Drescher's nasality. I love the accent, though.
Oh, yeah! The theme song ain't all that hot, either.

BUT.... I hate Fran Drescher voice, acctualy, I can't tolerate her voice ( and her mother's voice too), so I almost never watch it. there's no shame in watching The Nanny, especially when Newman appears there.

What was the name of the show that Wayne Knight did a few years ago? It lasted about half a season, I think it was on Tuesday nights and starred a stand-up comedian named John something. It took place at a newspaper I think, with Wayne Knight being the boss or city desk editor or something like that. The main character (John) was recently divorced with 2 daughters.
