New Nazis.

After watching The Soup Nazi for the first time last night (I was lucky to fit it in because we were out burning witches in the backward-assed country last night) and I have to say I was quite dissapointed. Maybe it was the expectation of the show but I found the whole thing a little thin . The stuff with the camp funiture robbers was funny and the whole "Your Smoppy, No your Smoppy" was a nice observation on relationships but the Soup Nazi, I just don't get why that's so funny. Sure the guy's nicely nuts and it was drew some good parrells with the rules in modern society but he wasn't anymore funny than say Crazy Joe or The Mastreo (sic). At least we got to see Newman running down the street which is always funny but all in all I was disappointed.

No soup for you!! (not that I'm really bothered because I can get soup from the supermarket for like 50p)

The Soup Nazi is based on a real guy here in the city whose soup is really that good, or so they say, I can't afford it.

What is so funny is the way he terrorizes the customers until the always haughty Elaine strolls in and starts banging on the counter. His growing rage is hillarious as the speed with which they grab the soup back from George's hand.

You obviously don't appreciate soup as much as you should. Consider this, a slight chill in the air, overcast, around three in the afternoon; what else but soup? Once you're hooked, well you'll need it from then on. 50c supermarket soup hah, philistine. Have you tried pumpkin and orange soup? Delicious.
