Elaine Can't Talk

I can recall 2 words that Elaine accidentally mispronounced. Can anyone name them and possibly come up with others she butchered?

Without referring to a dictionary, I believe a svengali is a man who gains or imposes complete control over a woman, or somebody who is able to brainwash another person and manipulate that person at will. It's got an inherently negative meaning.

Don't forget "stuperstition" and I don't believe Lee - on is the preferred pronunciation of Leon in "Ponce de Leon".

You're very close. Svengali was a fictional character in 'Trilby' a novel by George du Maurier. Svengali was an evil hypnotist.
