Steve Tyler...OK

First i want to apologize for the lack of seinfeld material but i just had to get this off my chest. I posted a message about a line from the movie A Street Car Named Desire and this guy Steve Tyler puts me down about webtv. I don't know who he is and i never talked to him before but i guess if your not using a computer to (his standards) your worthless. Well i'd like to know where Steve gets off by putting people down that he doesn't know himself. Has this ever happened before in this group, i've been to other groups like the (rec. music.phish) where people don't criticize you for what kind of service your using.Well for the most part this discussion group is great, i guess there's always a "bad apple" in a bunch.

Actually I'm fairly new to this ng thing, so what's the big deal about WebTV? I don't use it but I a m curious as to why so many people on this and other groups are always putting it down. Is there any kind of serious reason behind this?

I think someone is being a bit to sensitive. If what he says bothers you, ignore him. That's why the computer gods created the delete key.
