Again, I'm sorry for bringing this up, as this must have been discussed here before.
I didn't realise this until I purchased the DVD release of the great Oliver Stone movie JFK. I saw the movie in the early 90's when the movie originally came to theaters, but wasn't watching Seinfeld at that time yet.
I thought it was hilarious how they did a remake of the classic courtroom presentation done by Jim Garrison (played by Kevin Costner in the film of course) in the Seinfeld episode The Boyfriend. You know what I'm talking about, right? Where Jerry, Kramer ja Newman do the re-enactment of how Keith Hernandez supposedly spit on Kramer and Newman after "Game Six"?
What made me laugh the most, was the fact that they used Wayne Knights character on both the movie and the Seinfeld episode. In the first his character was named Numa Bertel, in the latter it was Newman.
Is this just a coincidence? Numa Bertel is probably a real name, whereas Newman is more likely a character greated by Jerry and Larry.
