To ALL you Finale HATERS

The finale was 1 hour of television excellency if you ask me. Definitely one of the best if not BEST episode of all time.(I have seen them all except the pilot) I think the last episode seperated the "true fans" from those looking for cheap laughs. There we a couple of parts I disliked but I throughly enjoyed 95% of the show and fortunately got it on tape along with the pre-game show and post game Leno interview. Whats gets me is that first people whined and cried that the show wasn't funny anymore. So Jerry Seinfeld decided to end the show. Then people whined and cried that the show was ending. Now people are crying about how bad the last episode was...no wonder he decided to quit. Half of you in this newsgroup are just plain ungrateful...you won't realize what a good thing you had until it's gone forever.

Jerry I salute you...way to go out with a bang!

P.S. Didn't anyone else think that line near the end "We'll be back in a year" could have possiblly been referring to the show. I could see them all taking a 1 year break and coming back for more. Probably not, but I can always dream.

I am in total agreement with you. As far them returning in a year, wouldn't a major motion-picture release be nice?

All of you have criticized and bitched about the ninth season episodes.  Now
that it's over, what are you guys going to complain about?   The episodes in
syndication?   It's just a show . . . GET OVER IT!!!!   If you don't like it,

Yeah yeah yeah, how many times are people going to spout off with this same line of tripe? "You didn't get how brilliant it was, you are not a true fan." Wrong. People have watched the show for years, people enjoyed the show for years, and they did not find it funny...it's that simple. It's not quite as simple as you mindless drones who would have been blown away by an hours worth of Jerry sitting on a couch reading a magazine, but it's simple none-the-less.

First of all, I can't believe that in some of the posts people are complaining
about "The Clip Show."  There were just clips of old shows, people!   How can
anyone gripe about a clip show?   The bloopers were definitely funny, you have
to admit that.  Secondly, a while back, few people stated that the show started
to suck when Larry David left and if he was still around, the episodes would be
much better and blah, blah, blah.   Larry David came back for the series finale
and the show still wasn't good enough?  I don't get it!!

I do realize that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, as I am to mine.
I'm not trying to say that just because you guys hated the season finale, y'all
aren't true fans.  Just think about this . . . a true fan is someone who
watches the show and tries to look for something good.  All of you are looking
for something bad.  When you watch a show, you automatically think that it's
going to suck just like the rest of them. Y'all are so fixated on your views,
you fail to see something funny.  It just passes right by all of you.   You
guys haven't even mentioned something good about the series finale.   Are you
telling me that in that hour and 15 minutes, you didn't find a single thing
funny?  Not even one?  I find that hard to believe.

As for the ones who didn't even watch the whole thing, you have no right to complain. Just because the first 10 or 15 minutes sucked, it doesn't mean the rest of the show did. And none of y'all can say it did becaue you didn't watch it to know whether you were right or not.

I agree totally. Nothing is more irritating then these people on their high horses telling fans that they didn't understand the final show & that we're somehow deficient since we didn't like it. This show was noticeably different from the rest not just in subject but in overall feel. Thanks for putting my thoughts into words. And I bet it was the same group of complainers each time. There's just no pleasing some people.

I think it was just Larry David, messing with our heads again. Sounds like tabloid fodder to me.

What made "Seinfeld" funny to me were the clever (even silly) ways the show got to the punchline. I waited and waited for something clever to happen last night. It never did.

I think Jerry could puke on camera for an hour and some people would still rave that it was "brilliant" and "the funniest thing I ever saw".

It's just a tv show. Get over it. The finale was lame.

Hey keep dreamin, I will be. It would be very irreverent to do that, especially after all the unwanted hype. Kind of a stab at the idiot critics and tv hounds who think they always have the big scoop.
