Stupid people and last night's episode

I thought last night's episode was the best of this season by far. However, I have to believe that alot of people had problems with the way the episode was laid out, probibly the same group that couldn't follow Pulp Fiction. Anyway, my roommate makes a comment after the show that this wasnt so special. His reasoning? They could have written the show forward and then shot it backwards. Then again, since he's a cab driver, I discount anything he says.

Any comments on anyone who had trouble following it?

The point is not how they filmed it. Of course, they could have filmed the show in any order and simply cut it backwards. The question is, would it be as funny.

I haven't watched the show "fowards" yet, as others have, but I have a good feeling it wouldn't be as funny, especially since the first 10 minutes of the show (starting with India) was just ok. The last 13 minutes were flawless. So, watching it forwards would mean starting with the best material and ending with the worst part.

In addition, part of what makes the last 13 minutes funny is seeing the set up after you've already seen the punchline.

The episode was OK, the backwards gimmick interested a lot A LOT of people but the story, jokes, and writing was only so so. I WISH they could have worked Kramer's theme into the wedding theme better. I'll take Newman's wish anytime.

It's obvious that's not what happened, due to the last two scenes (two years ago, 13 years ago) and Kramer's lollipop. That must've taken some doing!

I don't understand your reasoning. The prop department could have made up 4 (or 5 or 1000) different lollipops of different sizes. They could have shot the show sideways, for all it matters. They probably shot it according to what sets would be needed for each scene.
