At the time Jolsen was probably the world's greatest entertainer. The guy was huge! His competition for this title was probably Houdini.

A few months ago I borrowed a videotape copy of the original "The Jazz Singer" from the library. Billed as the worlds' first talking pciture, it starred Jolsen. Much of the picture was silent, and one must consider the times, of course. The film is a museum piece. But this was one of the most laughable performances I've ever witnessed. It's hard to believe that people accepted this level of performance and paid money to witness it. Ariosa

So big deal you saw part of the show before others. There are people all over LA that have movies that are coming out next summer at home on video. They pass out free movie passes for movies a year before they come out.who gives a crap where or how you saw it early. I saw it tonight and liked it!

Kramer bit is very hilarious. He's living all day long in his shower. You will see that it's very an atrocious way of living. Jerry bit was also interesting. Very watchable. He's dating a woman who got some habits that will please some male fans.........

Yes, this show was really the best so far this year with the exception of the continuation of one of the guest stars whose character has run his course.

So, Saint, did you get to see a taping of the show? If so, you are sure one of the few who have gotten in to and you must know someone high up for that. Which, is great for you....it is hard to get in to see these. Are you an intern on the lot on another show and got in to see it? Ah..or did you get your hands on a script? OR, do you know one of the actors? Just curious. Jennifer
