Here in northern California, there are NO commercials between the ending credits of Seinfeld and the opening credits of Frasier. There's barely even a dip in video black. I guess NBC *REALLY* wants you to stay tuned for the next show. Is it like that across the country?

Oh - and I myself am very happy to see Julia (once the most unused character of SNL) now the most visible. Everyone else from that time period in SNL's history can bite me.
I have to disagree with you SLIGHTLY on your SNL opinion. I thought Tim Kazurinski was vary funny and he does have a decent career as a screenwriter now. The rest of them were pretty bad except for Eddie Murphy. Funny about Julia and Brad Hall, since he was the lamest of the bunch.

It's like that here in Ontario (Canada). There's a network ID and then you're looking the Frasier intro in the face...
Ditto for Columbus, Ohio. There's not even a network ID.
I can't change the channel fast enough.
It's like that in Boston, too; however last season the same thing happened with the transition from Cheers at 9:00 to Seinfeld at 9:30. This also happens at 8:30 with the end of Mad About You and the start of Wings.
Yeah, I saw on one of those really neat hard copy-ish type shows that the networks were testing this as a way to keep the viewer. No time to switch, so you may as well just watch the next show. Another of those annoying little "We have planned your life to make us more money even though it really should piss you off" things. Like carpet cleaners calling at 9:00 in the evening. If I ever find out who the one guy in the country is that actually says "Son of a gun, I did want my carpets cleaned but I was too confused about how to use the phone...Thank god you called" I'm gonna get his number and give it to all the boneheads who call me. Just like this stupid chain letter that pops up every few weeks on the internet. If we all could just get along and not pay any attention, it would just go away.
