Who was watching "Jerry?"

Can anyone identify the various characters who were seen watching Jerry's pilot during the season finale? It seemed like pretty much every important supporting character from this last season made an appearance. I could identify most, but a few escaped me.

Also, which previous episodes were referenced in the "audition" scenes, as well as the finished pilot?

Sounds like some good fodder for the FAQ...

On another note, just think if "Jerry" had been picked up by NBC. After all, "Jerry" is a series about a set of fictional characters based on the fictional characters within the series "Seinfeld," who, of course, are based on some very real characters in our own universe. If "Jerry" had gone on, there would've inevitably been an episode in which the "Jerry" characters had created a TV show based on themselves...

Too many levels of unreality! Aagh!

here's a few I can remember:

- Virgin and John Kennedy Jr - women Jerry dated with the "fake" boobs - NBC exec who dated George(can't remember her name) and her lesbian friend - Old guy with foreign maid that Kramer and Newman got old records from - Newman (sleeping)

I have another question. The fact that Elaine was dating the President of NBC took me by surprise. Was this in another episode?

I think the Seinfeld show is great, but in defense of Cheers' final show I don't think the writers were trying to write the best hour of comedy ever shown on TV, or even the best hour of Cheers for that matter. There was no pressure to write some great script that would keep viewers waiting for the next season, or so that the network would keep the show. They just needed to tie up some loose ends and say goodbye to everyone.

Oh well, that's just my 2 cents worth. Back to Seinfeld!

The woman was Ping's sister. She was hired by Ping to sue Elaine. I think she (somehow) ended up on a date with George, and this was the episode where George insisted Jerry not be funny... or am I getting her mixed up with some other woman as far as this part goes?

it looked to me like the new owner of their restaurant... the one who elaine wanted to sue because of his hiring of large-breasted women. notice also his comment (i can't remember it exactly) about how "that Kim Novak has really large breasts"

the particular significance of this IMHO is that jerry's mom says her typical "how could anyone not like him?" just as jerry demonstrates some particularly bad acting.

the woman was the lawyer george went out with who thinks jerry is dark and brooding because george told jerry not to be so funny. she was also supposed to keep jerry's pakistani friend from being deported.

i also found it amusing that the virgin is now very into sex ("John, come back bed...")

another viewer of "Jerry" was the Drake (i HATE the Drake) w/the Drakette watching it on a tiny portable tv!

my wife and i agree that the best thing about seinfeld is the amazing interconnectedness of plots both within and between episodes. pretty amazing for a show about nothing! that's why i found this montage of minor characters so great. sort of a "where are they now".

Another pair of viewers (my personal favorite) were Tia, the model who Jerry met on the plane in first class and later caught him in the "pick", and the Calvin Klein-like agent to whom Kramer went to sell his fragrance (an unsuccessful attempt) and for whom Kramer later modelled for a similar fragrance. {When Kramer's add comes out, Jerry and Elaine think they see part of his "appendage" in the photograph. This was the same episode in which Elaine's nipple is exposed in her holiday photo-card.}

Yes, but as I said before, I'd have to kill someone if this happened. Preferably Wade Boggs, and this would probably ruin Newman's* life, if that's possible.

I suppose I could just blame the writers of Seinfeld, but that'd make things too simple.

That was Ping's cousin, I think. She was the one who almost sued Elaine for jay-walking and crashing into Ping. She also liked Jerry because he was dark and depressed.

Others I can remember now:

- Susan from NBC and the other girl George dated. They met in the coffeeshop during the episode where George found out Susan was a lesbian.

- Sidra and Sal Bass. Jerry dated Sidra (sp?) and had problems dealing with the fact her breasts may have been fake. "They're real and they're spectacular." Sal Bass was the guy Kramer thought was Salmund Rushdie. "Boy, it's like a sauna in here."

- Calvin and the model. Jerry turned her off after meeting her on a plane when she caught him doing "the pick". Was there nostril penetration?

I may have missed a few, but I know I have it on tape :-)
